About Linda P. Jones

Linda P. Jones describes herself as a “Wealth Advocate” and believes her mission in life is to bring more wealth to the world and to show others the roadmap to financial freedom. She is CEO and founder of the Global Institute of Wealth for Women. Linda grew up in a middle class family in an affluent Seattle suburb, the youngest of 5 children, and at a young age she began to question and search for the answer to why some people were rich and others weren’t?  Linda read Think and Grow Rich when she was 10 years old.  Over the years, she read many investment books, books about positive thinking♠, and biographies of wealthy people. In her quest to understand why some people were wealthy, she earned a Business degree from the University of Washington, became a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), and worked in the investment industry over 25 years, representing many of the industry’s best money managers and overseeing an 8 state territory with over $200 million of investment sales annually. While in her 20′s, she discovered an 8-step process that she feels is the reason some people are rich and others aren’t. Putting “The 8 Steps to Wealth” into practice made her a millionaire at age 38. At 39, she made $1 million in one year. Linda writes a financial column for the Examiner.com in Los Angeles and StarLee magazine for women entrepreneurs, and is the financial expert for Star 101.5 FM radio in Seattle. Linda also donates her time as a member of the Board of Directors of SightLife, an international non-profit organization which facilitates sight restoration through cornea transplants and as a member of the investment committee of the Sunset Club.
