My husband sends me a quote each morning when he arrives at work to start our day. Today’s was: “We are all faced with a series of great opportunities brilliantly disguised as impossible situations.” Isn’t that just the most beautiful string of words you have ever heard to describe life? Life is so full even on the days that are completely normal and even sometimes icky. Icky being the breakdowns that occur in life before the breakthroughs. I have them in business all the time… but more importantly are the ones with family that allow us to grow closer.

It starts when our children are babies and they cry uncontrollably because they need to eat or sleep and then again as toddlers when they have tantrums and then plop down in the oddest of positions and fall right to sleep (the storm before the calm!) Then again when they are teenagers, we as parents are exposed to unending stories of “impossible situations” they will never live through. Yes, this quote brought tears to my eyes because it reminds us to not fret about the hard stuff… because “all the stuff” is what makes life so incredibly beautiful.
