Dear Smart Women,

How are you? I spent most of this week taking my kids to their doctors for annual appointments and then to follow up appointments for things they found at the annual appointments. Amazing how busy kids can keep a mom. In the midst of these very busy days though, I was still able to run a very productive company.  Actually the team, the systems, the processes, and the technology all allowed me to run the company at the usual fast pace while I was out living a very important mommy life this week.

So my question for you is, “Have you set your business up in such a way that the business model serves you?” (See the video of the week below for two tips on what to look for in a business model) Most often you are actually serving the business model and not in control of your business at all and you certainly can’t shift when something changes because your business model doesn’t allow you to.  I invite you to check out a few resources this week so that 2011 can be a “smart business model” year for you.

1. Check out my book, Smart Women Create Membership Based Businesses and also Smart Women Know Their Why.  These two books will get you thinking in a completely new way about your choices.
2.
