Do Schools Kill Creativity?

Hi Creators and Big Thinkers!

Do Schools Kill Creativity?

Here’s another great TED video that explores the dynamics of how “brilliance” is cultivated in our present day culture. The speaker is funny, witty, and insightful. Enjoy!

My gut feeling is schools are only as good as the teachers within them – thankfully, most teachers are good, and many are great!

But as always, I think it’s the home environment that sparks and nurtures a child the most.

    Thanks!

  2. This is a GREAT video thanks for sharing… I believe that the key to a better tomorrow is learning in a creative environment. The best thing about my mentor program was we co-inspired the students to talk to their teachers and to use the resources around them.

When the student is ready the teacher will appear and we all need teachers from all walks of life. And we need to INSPIRE them by guiding them to be Innovative and Creative, Nurturing and Kind, Skills in today’s world, Preparing them for the future while providing them with Inner Peace, Responsibility and Empowerment.
