The Effects of Complaining
Hi Creators!
I found a couple blog posts this week that really helped remind me why I need to stop complaining. I have to tell you that since the kids started school a couple weeks ago, I have been a little bit grouchy–too many demands each day from the teachers can send me into a real complaining frenzy. I LOVE teachers, but with three kiddos in school and another in daycare, I just find all of the daily to-do’s overwhelming.
Anyway I read a couple posts this week that reminded me what I should be focusing on in my life–the people I love and cherish. I need to let all the other stuff just melt away. First I saw this post over at Lessons From A Scrapbook. Tasra is right. All of our true purpose in life IS wrapped up in the little things. And the next time I complain–I need to refocus my energy into a more positive experience. Life is a process of continuous growth.
And then Timothy Ferriss just posted this about a 21-Day No-Complaint Experiment. I had to wonder if the universe was trying to tell me something? All of us something… I know everyone in our house could benefit from doing this experiment. Of course Timothy doesn’t have children yet does he! Oops, there I go–I mean ‘thank you Timothy’. ![]()
To your success,
